Good Painting - Original Painting

In this painting, I'm trying to blur the line between all my small watercolour paintings and my larger oil paintings. I wonder if they can meet in the middle and become something better than either style is on its own.

So she's got the layers of colour and texture of an oil painting, but the loose freedom and cheeky nonsense of my smaller work. Honestly I couldn't be more pleased.

Painted on 18"x24" gallery wrapped canvas. It sticks out 1.5" from the wall. You can get a floating frame built at any frame shop. Or if you want to hang it without a frame, let me know and I'll add a hanging wire and make sure it's finished around the edges.
