So originally I made these Bon Appetit portraits to raise money for my local food bank. And Carla? When I send her a sheepish DM to tell her about it, she instantly offered to match the sale price with a donation of her own. Like, this woman doesn't hesitate when it comes to kindness. I had just a couple tiny interactions with her, but if you've suspected that she might be incredibly cool and sweet in reality, you are 100% correct.
I chose this pose because she was getting INTO it. She doesn't hold back. I hate using this overused word, but Carla Lalli Music is a total badass.
