One person's trash panda is another person's treasure panda.

This is a bathtub painting! I have a unique art studio, in an old hotel, complete with hotel bathtub. I initially made paintings in it on a dare, but it evolved into a whole process that I've grown to love. This was one of the first larger paintings I did in the tub, so I sketched it on dry land, but did the rest while having a good soak.

Is it weird to paint in a bath? Sure. Is it really hard to keep a steady hand in the tub? You bet! But is it oddly therapeutic and full of conceptual possibilities? Is it ever!

Painted on 16"x20" 140lb cold pressed watercolour paper. Since these paintings are loose and scrappy (and painted in a dang bathtub!) they may have a smudge or two, but that's all part of their charm.

Signed on the back. Add a note if you want it signed on the front as well.
